DOMESTIC EPC ASSESSMENTS

 

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) gives a clear overview of a property’s energy efficiency, potential carbon emissions, and estimated running costs. Each certificate includes an energy rating from A to G, where A represents the most efficient properties. Unlike commercial EPCs, which are based solely on building emissions, residential EPC ratings are calculated using the estimated cost of running the property.

 

EPCs also include practical recommendations on how to improve your property’s energy performance and reduce ongoing costs.

 

EPCs are valid for 10 years and are a legal requirement for all properties that are newly built, rented, or sold.
